✨✨✨ JIM QUEEN AND THE QUEST FOR CHLOROQUEER is a colorful tale celebrating the Gay community. From Twinks to Bears, Leathermen and Puppies, dive into a fantastic world of licks, likes and love ✨✨✨
    A straight plot

Jim Perfect, Paris’ most famous Gay influencer, just tested positive for Heterosis, a new virus turning Gay men into straights…

To save him from buying a minivan or unironically wearing a puffer vest he’ll be joined by his most fervent follower: Lucien, a young Twink determined to try and find how to synthesize Chloroqueer, a cure for Heterosis.

Together, they’ll journey across the Parisian Gay scene to find what could be Humanity’s last hope in keeping Drag Shows and questionable puns alive.

But what if the real Chloroqueer were the friends we f*cked along the way?

    gay friendly

If heterosis already got you, here’s a refresher to understand what we’re talking about.

    Queers quest & fun

This adventure could not be possible without Marco Nguyen aka Pouiky (pronounced Pweeky) and his co-director Nicolas Athané. The first is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, former organizer of Paris’ hottest Gay after-works and the other a desperately straight father of two. Both are successful animation directors who have joined forces in France’s most outrageous animation studio responsible for « Peepoodo’s super f*ck friends », « Creature Commandos », « Dead Cells: Immortalis », « les Kassos », « Vermin », « Mr. Flap »…

Together they’ve assembled a diverse cast ready to mingle with the Parisian Gay scene

    Boy toys

Because we want you to have as much fun as we’re having making this film we went above and beyond to give you the most insane rewards, including a prostatic plush, a mini video-game by Menica Folden, pride pins galore and an eyeshadow palette inspired by the film’s colors. You can also get to voice a character, appear in the film, get in the credits and get early access to the behind the scenes.

Please note all reward visuals are not final design and subject to change as the production moves forward.

    Stretch these goals

Rewards are cool but more rewards are even cooler. For every ✨ GYM QUEEN ✨ and above backers, you get cooler stuff added to your loot. What are you waiting for, time to coerce people into helping us reach our goals.

There might even be an art-book in the works if you go above and beyond these 👀

    Pourquoi nous financer

Because it is a well known fact that animators need to be fed. A famished animator won’t animate as good, and might drop from time to time and despite what production folks might think there are a finite number of them.

The project has already secured 75% of its fundings through public grants (France, Belgium and European big W if you ask me) and we’re confident we can get as close as possible to the €4,5M we need to make the film. But tbh « as close as possible » is not enough to make this film a reality. Without your help this amazing project could end up shelved and never screened, and that’d be the biggest (hate) crime of all.

We’re convinced this project is needed, especially today * gestures at everything happening right now *. We think it makes sense to make this film hand in hand with you, not only because celebrating a community happens on and off screen but also because we want to show there’s an audience for animated comedies about identity quests with anthropomorphic bears and puppies (which might be a niche genre but still).
